系列賽第三戰，騎士雖然沒有再重現前場瘋狂外線，但在三巨頭穩定發揮下，客場101比91打敗活塞，三連勝到手。

詹姆斯(LeBron James) 20分、13籃板、7助攻表現依舊全面。厄文(Kyrie Irving)攻下全場最高26分，包括最後45秒時，一記0.7秒隨接隨投的關鍵三分球。勒夫(Kevin Love)貢獻20分、12籃板。湯普森(Tristan Thompson)抓下8個進攻籃板，全場8分、10籃板。騎士在籃板掌握優勢，在雙方投籃命中率相當下，46比32多抓走14個。二次進攻得分17比9領先。

活塞佐蒙德(Andre Drummond)17分、7籃板、2阻攻進帳，罰球6中1。第四節對手展開駭客戰術，2罰不中後就回到板凳。第四節只上場1分半鐘。

凱威爾波普(Kentavious Caldwell-Pope)18分、4抄截全隊最高，傑克森(Reggie Jackson)送出12次助攻，但三分球8投中1，只得到13分。

前場賽後宣稱絕對讓詹姆斯腦海揮之不去的活塞19歲小將強森(Stanley Johnson)，本場再度攻下9分。不過全集中在上半場，下半場一分未得。

活塞吞下季後賽九連敗，同時是季後賽11連敗給騎士。台北時間4月25日上午8:00在主場背水一戰，力求避免遭到橫掃命運。
